As a matter of fact, I'm quite certain the screenshot is from CRA My account! It is not "after logging into my TD Web Broker account" as Dommm claimed.

You are correct. The official T3 shown below is from the WebBroker site but because I needed to block more info from it I used the CRA info. Tough crowd here lol.td1.png

It is less of being a tough crowd than being accurate and specific in comments. Saying a TDDI T3 was available already is like stirring up sediment in a calm pond to those 'in the know'.

Yes, it surely stirred me up. I logged into WebBroker and saw no T-slips.
I then called them and learned that since all I had with them in 2025 were couple of MM Funds there will be no T-slips from WebBroker.
T-3’s from MM Funds will come to me by mail directly from the funds.
In March.

Maybe you're not as "in the know" as you think. Show me where I was wrong. I was logged into WebBroker, TD Direct Investing is circled for your convenience & T3 is circled also for your convenience. td3.png

As Norman1 already explained to you, that was NOT a TDDI tax slip, It was a TDAM tax slip which TDDI simply provided as a courtesy on their platform. That is a big difference, but it is cool that TDDI does that.

Added: If you held a CI mutual fund in your TDDI account, it would be CI who would issue the tax slip (not TDDI), as it would be Fidelity who would issue a tax slip for a Fidelity mutual fund held in your TDDI account. The same thing likely* applies to ISAs (deposit accounts) held in a brokerage account, i.e. the issuer of the ISA such as TDAM for TDB8150 ISA issues the tax slip. Brokerages issue tax slips for publicly traded securities like stocks and ETFs and for bond interest.

* As an example, Bank of Montreal issues the tax slips for BMT ISAs held in my BMOIL account, not BMO Investorline. Also Bank of Nova Scotia issues the tax slips for DYN ISAs held in my Scotia iTrade account, not Scotia iTrade.

There is not one thing in my original post that is incorrect & I circled in my 64 post confirmation of that. Nobody including myself likes to be wrong & most of us including myself when shown that we were wrong apologize.

RBC DI notified me on Feb. 17th that my T5 slip was available. It now appears on the CRA's My Account with a date of Feb. 19th. Apparently, public humiliation (think of last tax season) has been a motivator.

However, 12 days ago I requested a transfer of an amount from my 2026 tax instalment account to my 2025 tax instalment account. The status is still showing as requested. Many years ago, I phoned the CRA to do a similar transaction, and it was relatively painless. It is mind boggling to me that some IT resource could not have written some minor code to do this online. The CRA approving this transaction is adding minimal value and 12 days and counting is abysmal customer service.

Has anybody on this forum ever received a T5 slip from Habib Canadian Bank, either this year or in previous tax years? If so, when in February did it show up?

I purchased their GIC through a broker, and they screwed up my address at the time of purchase, such that I never received the actual certificate from Habib.

Instead, I got an electronic copy from the broker, and all ended well with my GIC being paid out by pre-authorised deposit earlier this year. At the time, I reminded the broker of the address snafu and asked them to fix my address with Habib. They assured me that all was in order with the bank and that I would be receiving my T5 slip in the post. But so far, nothing has arrived.

I have not received my 2025 T5 yet but this is what shows from 2024 on my CRA account. habib.png

Thanks for your input on Habib Canadian Bank's T slip provision. Those dates when T5 slips were posted to CRA are all pretty late in the game, mostly after the legal deadline of February 28. How did you manage your tax filing with such late arriving T slips?

Within a few dollars I know what will be on all my T's so I do not wait for them to show up on the CRA site before completing & filing my tax return.

Ready, set, go!!!

What happens to 2025 returns that were filed prior to February 23, 2026? Do they just sit until February 23, 2026?

NETFILE was actually closed until February 23. So, one could not NETFILE the 2025 returns before that date.
