Interest paid by the CRA to you is fully taxable. Interest paid by you to the CRA is not tax-deductible. I think the interest rate paid by the CRA to you is lower than the interest rate paid by you to the CRA.

Same here for Home Bank and Home Trust.
Then on Feb 3, 8 T5's in separate envelopes via Canada Post even though I set everything to be electronic. In fact everything is set for electronic delivery at Oaken but everything also comes via Canada Post.

I keep a spreadsheet with boxes to tick off for all our T slips etc. and print a copy every year. That way I know when the last T3 has arrived. The T3s list the securities still remaining, so I always know when it's OK to file.
I do the same with previous years to know when to expect.
Only items showing @ CRA this morning was CPP & OAS.

Neo Financial: online, they provide T5 under its account. Meaning, if you closed Neo HISA account last year you won't be able to access HISA T5 on Neo web site. Even if you still have other Neo accounts.
If I knew that I would have kept empty Neo HISA until I can access its T5. Hopefully they'll mail its T5 and/or upload it to CRA My Account in timely manner.
