So, Hubert only customers will receive this new ID then?

Yep, that's what the reply from Hubert says.

Does interac etransfer have different rules per FI?

For a Hubert out bound ....
1. It’s free
2. What is the limit per transaction?
3. How many transactions per day?
4. Limit of funds transferred per day?
5. Limit of funds transferred per month?

I certainly hope the lesser of the two systems that Hubert customers are left, will have a push pull upgrade! Would make more sense to leave the cheque option that Accelerate has....and move it to Hubert and leave in place until a push pull is added to the new Hubert system!

It’s all about Access Credit Union.....not the customer!!

It’s going to create a new financial plan for customers, like me, that have an account at both Accelerate and Hubert. And for me....will be less funds at the final version of Hubert. First step....all cash moves to a lower rate at People’s trust “if” the interac etransfer is insufficient.

I asked and it was $10k max for etransfer a day. I'm assuming the current weekly/monthly limits still apply

A simple answer to the original question is "yes" each FI has its own etransfer rules and limits per transaction, per day, etc.

"Hubert Financial members will be mailed a unique Login ID number for first-time onboarding. At time of first login, you will be prompted to create a new username and password. If you have not received your login ID number by September 20, please reach out to us directly."

Well, I called today since I have not received an ID number. Apparently, a new login ID number was not generated for me and they don't know why. Hubert asked if I also had an Accelerate account and I told them I closed mine a couple of years ago. That may have something to do with it. They will call me on Monday to give me my new code. Just letting others know in case they are in the same boat. sf-surprised

Same here. But I just called in and it only took about 10-11 minutes wait time. The person was pleasant and gave me my unique 16 digit code for the 25th. So, was a quick and easy fix.

I called in and they said starting Sept 25 I can login to the Hubert website using my Access login since I'm also an Access member. I can still login to Hubert for now using my Hubert login.

I was told the limits were $6k per transfer, $10k per day or week, $20k per month

That's about 10 minutes longer than I ever had to wait for a Hubert CSR in "the good old days". They used to pick up immediately >50% of the time.

Lol. Yup I agree. My wait for Hubert is never longer than a minute. Hmmmm is it because of the conversion or is it the new level of service?

FWIW, I called into Hubert this morning to cash a GIC (to rebuy at a better rate), and there was little or no wait getting through.

The 16-digit codes are likely the same primary account number system as debit/credit card #s, etc.

By "likely", I mean that the one I got starts with 582163, which would match up with the Mastercard debit card number they get from Collabria or whoever. But my 16-digit number doesn't pass the "Luhn checksum", so I wouldn't be surprised if they've invented fake ones for online people who don't get a card.

I actually know a little about this... Short answer there is a mathematical formula for this based on actual and projected growth, blah blah blah

Think about Canadian SIN numbers being 9 digits and how many Canadians there are, then think about MasterCard being 16 digits and how many MasterCard holders there are in the WORLD.

One *might* come to the conclusion that Hubert overshot the number length by a little bit. 🙂

Hope its easy to login. I forgot to turn off a recurring transfer before the change. I’m sure people will report! Sounds like sunday night is the soonest!

Logged in via both Access app and Access online just now.

Looks like integration is all done. All my Hubert and Accelerate accounts show up there.

All present and accounted for. Every penny. Didn't lose any along the way.

lol.

So, I decided I was getting antzy and tried the new site/integration early.

Hmm...my account data seems to be intact, but I'm also seeing my Mom's account data in my profile. Now, I have PoA over her accounts, but is that supposed to be happening?

I can't call and ask Hubert as they're not open until tomorrow.

Hmmm...
