Does 2022 StudioTax still work with Windows 7?
As of the introduction of Windows 11 (October 2021), Windows 7 is now Five generations old, and long-since Abandoned by Microsoft (i.e. no longer supported by Microsoft security updates & patches).
As I'm sure you've been warned several times in the past, it's not a good plan to continue to rely on an Old Unsupported Dinosaur Generation OS. But to get a proper answer to your question, best check with StudioTax directly.
Good Luck

It says on their website:
StudioTax is compatible with the following Windows versions: 7*, 8*, 8.1*, 10 &11.
* Not recommended if you file a Quebec provincial return. Unless you were able to use the 2021 version to file your 2021 Quebec return.

Thanks. I did see that the first time but for some reason thought that it applied only to the 2020 and 2021 tax year. I emailed StudioTax but their response was unclear (see below).
"If it worked for you for the 2021 return, then you should be able to create and send your 2022 return using StudioTax 2022." No specific mention of Windows 7.

What is interesting and eye opening is when you find out:
1) Everybody is getting 5% at Tang but you are getting only 4.75%.
2) Everybody is targeted by Simplii for 5% but you haven't been targeted since the Leafs won the CUP.
3) Everybody is getting $300 in Canadian Tire money but you are getting only $150.
Ok, just having a bit of fun here.

Got the following reply from StudioTax this afternoon.
"Most likely it will work…Windows 7 is no longer supported by Microsoft. As a result it is supported by StudioTax as a best effort; that mean we will not do anything to prevent it but we may require a new library from Microsoft that result is forcing us to stop supporting it."
