I Opened an account yesterday with Saven and the experience hasn't been great!
1-The transfer to FHSA from another institution (FHSA) I initiated is nowhere to be found in Saven system.
2-Called Saven and and spoke to a lady who not only couldn't locate the transfer but she displayed a below average customer service : Unpleasant, annoyed and can use some politeness

I think I will forget these new kids in the block and stick with financial institution with good track records

Ah - I believe I spoke to that same lady at Saven earlier this week. I also had the same impression of her - unpleasant, annoyed etc.. However, I have had some service reps at Saven in past months who were more suitable for the job than this one. Saven is definitely still in its "teething" stages.

As for the claims from canadian.100 and zgic, our team is looking into it. Our August update of the platform does include a page that shows all pending transfers including the name of the financial institution, the amount transferred and the transfer date. That information should remain until the transfer is complete. We are running additional tests to ensure that is the case.

I had a second interaction with Saven Financial CSR and I keep getting surprises.
1-Why SF refuses to provide transit and institution number ?
I am planning to link my SF account from an external account and apparently SF want people do it the other way around : from SF account , link an external account by giving my banking credential (of the external account) to SF in order to link it.
I am sure many people will not be comfortable sharing their banking credentials with other institutions.
I am growing more and more skeptical of this Saven Financial model .
Certainly not meant for me.

@Saven: Is there any update on the tests where the transfer information remains until the transfer is complete? I wanted to transfer a substantial amount but am apprehensive.

Hi zgic, yes there is. We tested the transfer page, and it does keep information about the transfer (name of financial institution, date and value of transfer) until it is completed.

@Saven: I have done a small transfer to test this out. It currently appears under Scheduled transfers and NOT Pending transfers.
My previous experience has been that it disappears from the Scheduled transfers after 3 days before completion of the transfer. And this was happening both ways IN & OUT of Saven.
I will let you know what I find. But you have already confirmed that the testing is completed and that the transfer remains till it is complete.
