18 month GIC: 3.50% (previously 3.45%)

2 year GIC: 3.70% (previously 3.65%)

3 year GIC: 3.80% (previously 3.70%)

5 year GIC: 4.05% (previously 4.00%)

Looks like 1 year is up again to 3.50%, according to their web site. And that still wouldn't make them a rate leader. I expect another e-mail from them this morning.

There seems to be a slight upward trend to GIC rates lately.

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be. Also, my memory's not as
sharp as it used to be.

Watch the BoC bond yield curve on a regular basis for a clue to GIC rate direction.
