Just spoke with BMO the "ISA 4.76%" is only available to BMO Private Wealth client.

Thanks Norman1 for the info.. wow 0.41% between the 2

BMT104 pays a trailer to the dealer of up to 0.25% per annum. That trailer will be given to the client when client pays the advisor directly.

If the BMO Private Wealth advisor is an investment counsellor or portfolio manager, client will be paying a management fee directly of around 1% to 2% per year. That 0.41% improvement is then the trailer plus a bit of management fee back.

BMO Private Wealth is for those with $500,000+ to invest. Their Contact Us form has this footnote for the "Investable assets" field:

*If you currently have less than $500,000, please reach out to one of our [BMO branch] financial planners who will be more than happy to help. Contact a BMO financial planner.

BMO financial planners are a role under BMO Financial Group and are not registered with the entities within BMO Private Wealth.

I am thinking of locking in my money in the GICs offered. I’ve been usin ISA for a while but feel we are peaking in rates.

Boy was I wrong on that. Luckily, I didn't lock into a GIC.

All the USD versions of the ISAs will be dropping in the order of 50bp as a result of yesterday's 50bp drop in the Fed overnight rate. The CAD versions follow the BoC rate in some correlation while the USD versions follow the US Fed in some pattern.

No rocket science on any of these.
