Yeah it is kind of scary, when my Mom passed the cra didn't ask for any proof when the final return was filed. We got a notice that some of the OTB had to be paid back and besides that and the NOA ,that's all we heard from the cra.

A year later a t slip came for income that was earned in the estate while we were waiting for probate, we hired an accountant to file the T3 because it seemed too complicated for us and I was afraid of messing something up.

It is one thing for 'anyone' to file a Final T1 (CRA just wants what is due to them) but it is yet another thing to gain access to another person's MyAccount as a Legal Representative without providing a legal document with that authorization.
