I see the same offer but after I click on the box accept the term nothing happens so I just open up the term and read it, next time I login I go to the offer to check if it remembers that I already accepted the term but it shows exactly the same thing as i first time see it, still shows click on the box to accept term, is yours the same?

I got the same problem: when I accepted the terms on my offer last month or so, it kept showing it on my accounts page (repeating accept terms; even with logout/login). Then under my Offers tab, it was finally there by clicking on its "Saved offers" subtab.

I have tried multiple times to click on the box accept term, it still shows under browse offer subtab not saved offer subtab, logout and log back in it still shows under browse offer click the box to accept term, there is nothing on saved offer subtab, how did you solve it?

I wouldn't bother (maybe, it will come Tomorrow) but I would copy/paste the terms and conditions in a save place in case they don't come to their promise. Often, I had to complain and escalate. Lately, I forgot to keep trace of an unusual Scotiabank promo. Sadly, they told me I was wrong.

Same here but I just got an email about the offer from BMO so I am not worried.

When one signs up for a TNG offer, the affected accounts show the rate in effect and for how long.

The problem with BMO offers is you don't really know the rate is actually in play until 3 days after the first month end when the promotional/bonus interest is paid. So, when one of these offers lands we place $10k in the appropriate acount. Then, if promo/bonus $ appear after the first month end, we plow more $ in. Otherwise, we drain the account because resolving such issues with the big 5 requires too much time and effort.

It’s true but did you ever had an issue with these kind of promos at BMO?

The 1st one went fine. The second didn't. Many hours on phone. A few in branch. Apparently I got an offer not meant for me. Now starting the third. Hopefully ok. If not I'll move the $15k out Oct 5 and never sign up for another.

Never liked bmo. Spouse is Montreal native and loves bmo cause they have branches even though she hasn't been in one for 15 years and she doesn't know where hers is. I agreed to consolidate at BMO last year for all our auto deposits and debits. Cause the odds are she'll outlive me... 🙂

The cash bonus for this offer has been deposited.

The terms and conditions stated "the Total Cash Bonus will be deposited to the Qualifying Savings Account within 60 days after all required conditions above have been met" so it is great that BMO paid out quickly.

Glad to report that my bonus also got paid as of Oct.2. BMO could have held out for another 58 days!

A nice contrast with Scotiabank, who cannot even post HISA interest until business day 7 of the next month (and then not have to pay interest on the interest for the first 9-13 days!).

I reviewed the interest on my promo account and can not agree for 2 of the 3 months.
I received a promo in July going until Oct 31, 2026 at 4.75%
I used the method, (daily closing balance * 4.75%) / 365 = daily interest amount.
In July it agrees perfectly.
But for Aug and Sept it doesn't. It is a bit short.
Has any one had trouble with interest being incorrect?

Check the transaction dates against the transaction dates in the account's monthly statement.

The monthly statement usually has the effective dates and daily balances used to calculate interest.

Many banks use a hack for the date of the interest for a month so that the interest appears in that month's statement. For example, interest for Sept. 1 to Sept. 30 will show as paid Sept. 30 when it is actually paid/credited after the close of Sept. 30. Consequently, the interest for September doesn't earn interest until the next day, Oct. 1.
