The app and website I gave you has both radio and non stop, no commercial music. I know the music only one that you can pick your time zone. If that is the case on the radio......can you cheat that way to listen to your favourites earlier in the evening?  

I don't think you can listen to those programs on-demand. I can't find them here: https://www.cbc.ca/listen/on-demand. It is not like I stay up to listen .. It is just when driving and using the Radio in the car. That's all. They have enough on-demand to keep me busy. I even listen to some while working (Rather than listening to music which isn't really educational or informative for me personally).
