OfflineI have run into issues recently with W1 that I would like to share with you. 1) Despite advertising on the W1 website that they do outgoing wire transfers for $75.00, they do not do any outgoing wire transfers. 2) W1 advertises that they put a hold on mobile deposits for 5 business days. They hold all mobile deposits for 7 business days. 3) W1 advertises that they have a $10,000 daily transfer limit on e-transfers. The daily limit is $3000.00. As long as you are aware of this banking at W1 can provide you some of the highest rates available. I keep balances below 100,000 CDIC guarantee.

OfflineNot being a client, perhaps the W1 fee page is rather difficult to locate.

... current version dated Dec 16, 2024
At a glance in the TFSA column, the $75 per transfer out transaction and the $100 closing fee would be a consideration to me. Also not sure about any fee(s) around their TFSA GICs.

I opened a WealthOne HISA in June 2026. I can attest to the fact that the daily Interac Etransfer outgoing daily limit is $10,000, however the transaction limit is $3,000. Thus, I had to do 4 transfers to send $10,000 in a day.
