Wealth One New Rates | Wealth One Bank of Canada | Discussion forum

Surprised no one mentioned the Wealth One new rates in effect a couple of days ago.

I had just purchased a few GIC's from them 3,4 & 5 yr terms two days before their rate change. I called them yesterday to ask if they would cancel all three and give me the new rates. They got back to me within a couple of hours and they changed all GIC's to the new rate. Of course lost out on the two days interest.

Still haven't heard back from Oaken about adjusting to the new rate. They probably won't considering all I have heard on the topic here.
