Head em up, move em on out. Goodbye Wealth One. Greener pastures can be found elsewhere. CT Bank or Tang are the current leaders of choice.

Clarification, my Tang is at 1.5% on a promo till August. This is a targeted promo.

I knew that, I was pulling your chain but honestly I pretty well abandoned my tangerine because if I can get a stable rate like Canadian Tire without chasing promos then I much prefer that.

I guess I got spoiled with the long stable motive rate, that one stayed solid for what seemed like an eternity before it went down.

I'm in the boat of not jumping around based on promos, I just stick to the consistent ones (like Motive for the bulk of things). Wealth One looked promising and could have simplified things, but with the old bill payee database missing things that I'd need to pay and the drop in interest rate I'm a bit shrug at them. I'll just keep the bulk of my stuff in Motive.

Yes, it took me a long time to do the Motive setup so I left everything and kept $10 in the accounts. I moved the bulk to CT financial for the interest and took a .25% hit on my daily banking by using motus for that. I just found motus to have more of the every day stuff than motive. The secure message feature allows me to comunocate and make changes very fast and I like that.

My one regret is I would prefer to use motive for my larger deposits over CT financial because CT is very basic and plain. I wish motive would just move up a bit.
