If you scroll down at https://www.wealthonebankofcan.....gs+account you'll find a section "Registered High Interest Savings Accounts." where is shows 3.00% for the RRSP and TFSA.

Wonder if WOB has improved its financial situation - it had never turned a profit in the statements that were on the OSFI site - but since it became a private bank, the financial statements are not available. Would be interesting to know if they have turned the corner and are profitable.

Deposits in Wealth One Bank of Canada are CDIC insured, so I am not sure why would it matter for an account holder if that bank is profitable or not.

The email refers to TFSA at 3.0% but if scroll down says on HISA also. However on website need $25000 plus for 3.0% on HISA

But that CDIC Insurance maxes out at at measly $100K (almost Chicken Feed these days).

And why wouldn't someone be Extremely Wary when considering dealing with an FI that after 10 Years, it 'Still' can't make a profit ... or even break even ⁉️

Too many people are being blinded by W1BoC's high rates. I'd give it another 2-3 years, and then it's all going to Implode❗
