Recently I transferred $700 via Interac e-transfer and the money was there instantly (I was surprised). Wonder if the wait time would be 30 minutes for 3000$. Anyone?  

Yes, I sent $3,000 from Tangerine to RBC yesterday via Interac, initiated on Tangerine's website. 30 minute delay from when initiated to when I received email notification (I was the recipient as well). WS is almost instananeous for the maximum Interac transfer amount of $25,000, as is RBC for it's $10,000 limit through it's mobile app.
