Tangerine are making phone calls... again | Tangerine Bank | Discussion forum

Tangerine called Sept 5th, unfortunately no one was home to take their call. My first thoughts were... my account has been hacked, tangerine has given my money away to some duct cleaning service, and they were calling to offer me their condolences. This was NOT the case.

I checked my account online... seeing that my funds were still there and no special offer was being offered, I tried to return their call. The phone number listed on my call display just put me into a general queue... "we are experiencing a longer wait time than normal... blah blah blah". I hung up and they have not called me back.

Tangerine's way of doing business still baffles me... "Hi, we are calling to see if you would like 5% on your savings?" Am i to reply... no, i want 1%? In fact i demand 1%.
