IMO I believe it would be helpful to have a dedicated spot for reps to post their current promotions even if it is marketing material or a bit of a free for all.

The real value of this site from my perspective as a user is the ability to quickly indentify rate deals from a cross section of institutions and whether it is a national or a local only offer. This is not always the easiest task at times. Also, I'm unclear whether the best rates are always posted on a timely basis if the forum only relies upon its members to provide this information.

The due diligence aspects and Q&A can easily be dealt with and discussed in other threads by forum members if the promo is of interest.

How best to capitalize on potential revenue or what the consequences might be to the current revenue model, I will leave that to others.

ACTUALLY, in fact, I'm not an HSBC rep., am not an HSBC customer, am retired and have never worked in any bank or credit union. I was simply putting information out there. sf-smile
