Just respect each other as you would around a coffee table at work.

If you write something that you consider would get you punched in the face at work for saying it out loud then you crossed the line.

Life is simple, social contract as per Rousseau was made to live in harmony, respect it.

The day you become free is the day you work for fun.

I'll throw in my two cents. I am aware of the "word" that was used and while I don't like it, it's not as if I was hurt by it. And I am sure I will hear it again - many times.
I have no objection to folks explaining how they feel and using colour, if need be. Let's not be so quick to give up our right to free speech - I find that the world is becoming so PC that we need to tiptoe around everyone. The way it is going, there will be no more "anonymous" blogs/forums in the future and everybody's words will either fit the mold or you won't be allowed to speak. sf-frown

I believe people have right to say whatever they want as long as it is not causing physical harm to another person or another group of people.

This also imply calling people out when they are offensive, but this does not mean you can censor what they say. As any attempts to accomadate everyones feeling is end up going to destroy freedom of speech, which is what keep our society creative and encourage the growth of our knowledge base economy.

Good point.
I can't see how removing the C and F words is going to affect the knowledge. Certainly the emotion.
