The interest rate posted on the gic rates for Simplii is not correct. The 3.65% for 5 years is calculated after compounding as are all the rates posted. Simplii shows on their website that the actual rate is 3.59%. Just thought I'd let everyone know. Really find this website useful.

The Simplii GIC rates are correct.

Simplii GIC's compound interest monthly. Other GIC's usually compound annually. 3.59% per annum compounded monthly is equivalent to 3.65% per annum compounded annually.
