I have my position with RBCDI, they charge $50 per RSP withdrawal, any other place has less or even free RSP withdrawal ?

Just checked Alterna bank and credit union, both charge $25 , half price.

Alterna is not a DIY brokerage.

Why would one need to make frequent RRSP withdrawals so that the fees add up, can't you just make one withdrawal a year so that a $50 fee doesn't really matter enough for you to choose a different DIY broker just for that reason?

Wealthsimple is supposed to have free RRSP withdrawals but I have not tried it yet.
