Another FI moving rates up for non-registered and registered GICs.

1 year 2.50%
2 year 2.55%
3 year 2.60%
4 year 2.65%
5 year 2.65%

It's nice to see all these contrarian moves to the '+' Side ❗

Given the present situation & circumstances, this was totally unexpected by most (if not all) of us.

However, as most of us are aware, to date Oaken still has the best rates.

For those who might be interested in a short-term GIC, Peoples Trust and Peoples Bank are offering 2.45% p.a. for 90 days, 120 days or 180 days.

Looks like the 90-day (2.05%), 120-day (2.10%), and 180-day (2.10%) GICs rates have all come down.
