When logging into my CRA account, my T5's from five other institutions are showing but my Oaken (Home Bank) is still absent. I would like to use the auto fill option to do my tax return using a tax software program but until Oaken files my T5 with the CRA I would not get the proper calculation using the software. Just venting lol.

Access CU and Home Trust still not on CRA account for me? Would be nice to not worry about it when auto filling our tax returns! LOL

Does the software program allow you to add an additional T5 manually, after the autofill?

That's what I did, i.e. manual entry, when I got tired waiting for Simplii/CIBC to post T5 to CRA My Account.

An additional note: At one time 3-4 years ago, CRA auto-fill did not flag currency if a T5 was issued in USD. One had to remember to fill in the forex box in software separately. I don't know if that is still the case OR if financial institutions automatically convert USD recurring income to CAD on tax slips using the Bank of Canada annual forex rate.

Interestingly, I like to manually enter my T-slips even I've NETFILE'd since 1999/2000, or so. So, I don't use CRA's Auto-Fill My Return. Nevertheless, it's a cool feature. I will sometimes grab the data from CRA My Account if I haven't received my T-slip yet, but still like to manually enter it. sf-cool

Cheers,
Doug
