For myself (and Many others), Oaken has long since lost it's Luster, due to their disappointing rates & poor service. But I have to admit ... these new rates (1Yr & 1.5Yr GICs) ) Are compelling ❗

Other than a small SA (with a messed up statement sf-confused), I have no money with Oaken right now. However, I may move a yet-to-be-determined sum over there, to invest in that 1.5Yr GIC @ 4.80%.

But I'll watch my step, as most of their other rates remain disappointing. And from what I understand, their poor service still hasn't improved.

. . . But then again, Tang's 1.5Yr GIC rate is slightly better

I've never invested in a Tang GIC before ... I only have SA & CC with them.

I think I'll look into it. sf-smile
