When I make a deposit from an external account into my neo financial savings account, I noticed that the dollar figure shows up right away in the neo account. But it says pending. My question is how long does it take for the money to be debited from the external account? When I called neo financial phone agent, they said 5 to 7 business days. And then they changed their minds and said it could be as soon as one day. So I ask all of you. Based on experience, how long does it take for your external account to be debited?

Based on my experience, it is 5 business days hold, with $100 available right away.

If you need small amount available immediately, send it to Neo Financial by Interac transfer, and the rest by EFT.

Yesterday afternoon on the neo account, I made a deposit (pulling money from my external bank account and into my neo account).
In the past hour, I see that the money has left my external financial institution.
Just thinking about this experience, it was just a day's wait

Somewhat related and just to share my experience: I just did a push from Neo Financial to another financial institution and the money showed up the next business day. In the receiving account, it was technically dated the same day that I sent it.
