Anyone experience delays in funding the motus account
-I opened my account monday, uploaded a bank statement and entered the $ to transfer. Its friday and nothing has come out of my account yet?

Anyone experiencing the same delays

Motus is slow they have a backlog u can ask them to backdate gics it could take more than a few days to process

Unfortunately, Motus doesn’t have their own Customer Service Centre. It uses the same reps and Call Centre as Meridian. And, the agents lack the proper training in handling Motus queries. So, not surprised by the delays.

Are you sure they're not on their own. I called and they said they are operated as sister companies.

They have some people in each bank that are conversant in both banks policies, and can take the overload if they are not too busy. Also, the telephone numbers tell them who the call is for.

Meridian is in St. Catherines. motus is in Toronto.

I just opened a motus account and did the automatic linking to my external bank. I used tangerine and it worked perfectly. It says it's all secure, are other bloggers using it and if so , are you confident that it's safe?

Fortunately u mean, efficient, Alterna same. One platform one group to train should equal a bit more for deposit holders. I see no problem here.

After I linked my Tangerine account, I immediately changed Tangerine account password. The link still works.

Also, Tangerine now offers 2-Step Authentication, I recommend enabling it.
