Yes, though it was while trying to external link from another institution.

I was locked out afterwards. I tried waiting till after midnight, 24 hours. Tried getting password reset via phone. That allows you to reset the password, you can login after midnight but after you change your password, you're locked out again. Tried a couple other days to see if the locked status reverted.

And that's when the customer rep realized it's the 2FA and they knew about resetting the 2FA lockout. Really, that's quite an obvious fix and I'd have done that earlier if I knew.

Anyways this might be another reason why other people are still locked out after midnight, and after resetting their password.

It happened to me as well. I called and was told to change the password and to log back in at least once a month or so, because after a longer timeout their system locks client's account. Canada is wonderful: each financial institution has its own, unique rules that do not need to make any sense. I blame C68.
