Issue has been resolved. They were not able to give me any reason other than that they were really sorry.

This morning my online password was revoked even though I was typing correctly. I found out from Motive representative that I can not access to online banking until tomorrow even though she had reset my password. My account will stay locked until tomorrow with no online access. Motive needs to improve their online services. I personally will not recommend anyone to go with motive until they fix their major issues.

thanks for reporting back. It's good for people to know of the experiences of others.
I think you're entitled to more than "sorry". If indeed you had to raid your line o f credit, then they should pay your interest and some "goodwill" money for time and aggravation.

There is something very wrong here. You now have to wait another day until you can sign in to your account. This should work within an hour, not 24 hours. Sounds like they are using an archaic system. Motive should absolutely cancel any interest charge. You did not cause the problem.

Based on CB's experience, and the inadequate response and resolution of issues related to online banking by a FI that is essentially an online FI, Motive is another to be added to my own "avoid list" of FI's.

Everytime I try to pay a bill using the online banking site of Motive... It can either take 1 to 2 mins to process or it completely freezes and I have to clear my cookies and log back in... But the bill shows paid after logging back in. If it doesn't freeze... It may or may not show as deducted from my account unless I log out and in again. Lol

Strange...I've never experienced anything like that. I use it several times a week to move funds around and pay bills. If you have to clear your cookies, I'd say it sounds like a browser, security setting, or maybe an AV issue.

Have not had that problem with Motive, using them to pay bills since end of last year.
