Through Scotia iTRADE, Canadian Western Bank is offering 3.20% on their five year GIC's today.

That's a bit more than the 3.15% they are offering through their Motive Financial online channel.

Interesting. Available for both non-registered and registered accounts?

Yes.

Through a discount broker, the GIC is the same. It won't be an unregistered GIC, RRSP GIC, TFSA GIC, or a RRIF GIC. Instead, it is a GIC held in a regular, RRSP, TFSA, or RRIF brokerage account.
