The Offer is valid starting August 31, 2026, and until December 31, 2026. Eligibility is tricky. It must be the first HISA in that account type.

Tricky indeed, it requires a thorough reading of the terms and conditions. I'm out, too restrictive. It's definitely different from their previous promotional offers.

Not all that different from prior Meridian CU HISA promo in that the objective is to get you to put your funds on deposit in the HISA at expiry of the promo into mutual funds with Aviso, a partner of Meridian. You will be marketed quite agressively by a rep (who no doubt is on commission) as the expiry date gets closer. Meridian CU, no thank-you.
