With the apparent peaking of GIC rates, at least for the time being, I am making good use of the 21 day rate guarantee feature from MAXA.
There seems to be no limit to the amount of funds one can block in at current rates - e.g., 5.1% for 5 years. Nor does there seem to be a feedback loop - e.g., an email confirmation once the guarantee sheet is submitted.
So far, I have not had to invoke the guarantee, but that could change in the weeks ahead.
