I get messages from ICICI telling me about new offers and rates. For example, today I got one telling me I can move money from $CAD to $US at favourable rates. But at the end of this email is this message:

"This communication being sent by ICICI Bank Canada is privileged and confidential, and is directed to and for the use of the addressee only. If this message reaches anyone other than the intended recipient, we request the reader not to reproduce, copy, disseminate or distribute it in any manner. We further request such recipient(s) to notify us immediately by sending us an email at customercare.ca@icicibank.com and delete the original message. ICICI Bank Canada does not guarantee the security of any information transmitted electronically and is not liable for the proper, timely and complete transmission thereof. Before opening any attachments, please check them for viruses and defects."

Wow - don't let anyone else know about what we are offering you! If I post their favourable rates here, it sounds like they might come after me.

This seems a bit absurd. Any comments?

That is if it was received by some one OTHER than the intended person. Since you were intended do what you wish or do a copy and paste. What is the difference if you forward it by email or by mouth?
