How does one open GIC's with Hubert now after taking on Access credit union. It is not clear how the process works or even worth it. I think there are some limitations just not sure if it worth the hassle.

Very simple but it requires a little bit of your time:
1. Chat with agent. They might be able to open it for you (they could not in first few months but it looks like now they can as they did it for me over the chat)
2. Call and talk to agent

After opening an account, log out, log in to confirm they did it right. If they did not they will fix it immediately. Not a big deal.

If you are new Hubert customer, take a look at https://happysavings.ca/faqs/
Check out the tabs at the top and information on the right side of the Hubert page. It should answer most questions you may have.
