I was hoping for a way to deposit a cheque...but so far it does not seem to be a option.

That may be related to the fact that they don't offer chequing accounts, but, I agree, it would be a useful convenience, withor without chequing accounts. I don't mind the fact that they don't offer chequing accounts, as the places that do usually offer lower interest rates.
I suspect that, in order to accept cheques, they would have to incur extra costs for cheque clearing, which would impact savings rates. So, I'm happy to cash my cheques elsewhere and transfer the funds to Hubert.

I think the interface is pretty nice. It will be nice to nickname accounts and do recurring transfers.
