I am currently unable to get to either Hubert's web page or to their parent Sunova's web page using my Safari browser. I can get there through using Firefox. Safari says it cannot extablish a secure connection to either site. I am not having this issue with any other banking sites I use.

Is anyone else having similar issues using Safari?

Hubert tells me they have many customers with a similar Safari problem and they are working on the issue.

Very odd.

I just brought Hubert up on Safari in my iPad. No problem. I did not sign in though. Or do you mean Safari on an Apple computer or PC?

I'm using Safari (version 5.1.10) on an iMac running OS 10.6.8.

Yes, I just tried Hubert's site on my iPad and it did load. Maybe this is just a problem for desktop machines? For me this issue just started yesterday.

Hi. I can't help as I have a PC only. I quit using Safari and Firefox on my new laptop. It has windows 8.1 which is confusing...actually it sucks! And iTunes will sync from Internet Explorer. Hopefully there is a Mac user out there that can confirm and verify.

I only use Safari on an iPad. I suspect the issue may be related to an expired Certificate on the browser(s) in question but that is just a SWAG (scientific wild ass guess).

GS, your SWAG was pretty good! I got this response from Hubert:
"....even though we were not affected by heart bleed we did preform an update to our website to follow best practices. This disallowed less secure older browsers with less security restraints to connect such as safari version 5 and lower as well as certain versions of explorer.

This has been reinstated and you will be able to access our site presently but this we would strongly recommend you upgrade your safari or use a web browser such as Firefox or chrome."

Well, I cannot update Safari until I update the OS (which I am loathe to do currently as some of my older Mac software will not run on the newer system) so I'll live with the current issues. Firefox it is then (since I refuse to use Chrome and give Google yet more access to my private life!).
