Rate Update

As of Friday, June 19, a few of our term rates are decreasing. Our high-interest saving rate is staying at 1.80%.

Our term rates are as follows:

1-year term - 1.95% average
2-year term - 2.00%
3-year term - 2.10%
4-year term - 2.15%
5-year term - 2.20%

They have to remain competitive. No reason to leave them. They probably provide good service.

None of us here like to see the HISA & GIC interest rates going down, but we have to keep our eyes on 'The Big Picture'.

I've got my fingers crossed ... hoping by this time next year, they might start going back up again.
