I'm consolidating some registered funds from EQ into Hubert, and discovered that they now use Docusign to create an electronic document for RRSP transfers from other banks. The form was quick and easy, and certainly beats printing and wet signing documents that then have to get mailed in to Manitoba.
It's a step in the right direction for online banking, though still not up to the calibre of Sunova's former online banking system.

I think they've had that for quite awhile, I've never physically mailed anything to Hubert, and I've got a TFSA transfer-in from 2023 that used Docusign.

Meridian has it, too. Unfortunately, Oaken does not. They are still using snail mail or email. If anyone from Oaken is reading this, please consider adopting Docusign - or, at least provide a secure upload for sensitive documents (email is generally not secure, unless the documents are encrypted)

Hubert also uses the Docusign system to complete and submit an "external account link authorization" form used to set up transfer abilities to/from external FIs. They then use a micro-deposit to confirm the link, and one just has to call them to state what the deposit amount is.
Of course, it was preferable the way it was before the Access takeover, when we could all make the links and do transfers ourselves on the web.
