Aura Pre-Paid Mastercard launched yesterday. Sunova CU is the first credit union to partner with them and is the only one issuing cards at this time.

I downloaded the APP.....to my surprise...it is just Stack MC re-branded. The app is same layout, although a few of the features like Bill Pay or the ability to load funds by direct deposit are not yet available.

The offers are similar to Stack with a few variations on some offers. Example: In Stack, I have $1 off grocery purchase of $10 or more (one time use), in Aura, I have $3 off grocery purchase of $30 or more (use up to 4 times).

It appears Aura is going to be partnering with credit unions in the months ahead, so keep a watch out at https://www.auraloyalty.ca/sign-up/ - however it does say that it will be available to everyone in the future as well.
