Message

Access Credit Union is having a Special Meeting of Members via Zoom on Tuesday, November 28 at 7 pm CST. The purpose of the meeting is to bring forward an amendment to the By-laws to allow for the removal of Director Districts.

Removing the districts will allow for more equal representation for the Board of Directors and the growing territory of Access Credit Union. Members are encouraged to attend the meeting and cast their vote during the virtual meeting.

The gist I get from it is that Access CU has to have their BoD members from certain districts. Now that they have swallowed up so many other CUs, they want to remove the district requirements that would have to be constantly adjusted. Its kind of like a city council going from a ward system to members-at-large.

Voting either way isn't going to get the good ol' Hubert back sf-cry

Yes. But will it “put in” select members with “all alike” thinking to enable more flattening out of Hubert.
