.
I just finished an on-line chat with a Hubert CSR, asking about when their 2019 T5's would be available. This is what she said . . .

"The T5s were mailed out this past week. You should receive the tax slip within the next week or so. You are not able to access the T5 slips on-line."

.

Hubert T5's Not available on-line ... How Antiquatedsf-confused

I too chatted with Hubert today. I thought one if the new features was to be able to chat while signed into your account. I was signed in but was still asked for my account number and verbal password.

From what I understand, that ^ only works on their 'New' website ... which I've Stopped Using. My chat session (mentioned above ^) was done while I wasn't signed into my acct.

Imagine not being able to access T5 slips on-line, in this day and age❗ Sometimes I wonder if they also still use candlesticks & buggy whips. sf-confused

Needless to say, my 'Love/Hate Relationship' with Hubert continues ... LOL sf-wink

I was signed in to new website. I thought the login credentials would be good enough.....but not so....balooey to Hubert.

That’s not a big deal, to me. They should all on CRA and forget the mail and online download. But past experience says no.....not always on CRA.

Needless to say, my 'Love/Hate Relationship' with Hubert continues ...

Use them for your best interest. Total loyalty won’t happen, from me any ways.

I find that mail from Selkirk to Toronto normally takes about a week.
It must go via Churchill!sf-frown

That's is actually within the delivery standard for Canada Post Lettermail between Selkirk and Toronto:

  • One business day from non-major urban area Selkirk to Winnipeg.
  • Then, four business days from Winnipeg to Toronto.

I guess the mail now flies stand-by, the pony express having been eliminated.

It wasn't that long ago that Canada Post bragged about regular delivery anywhere in Canada except fly-in locations in 2 or 3 days (I forget exactly how long).

See my original post ^ (post #1) ... according to the Hubert CSR, they were mailed out sometime last week.

Hopefully, I'll get mine in the mail today, too❗sf-smile

Check the bottom left of the back of the envelope.

There should be some bars and then letters and numbers, all printed in light pink phosphorescent ink. The date is the rightmost letters and numbers.

That's still possible. Canada Post's Xpresspost mail is two days between major urban areas.

I suspect that when a bin is only half full of regular mail one day, Canada Post may hold onto the bin for another day to have one full bin to ship. That is rather than shipping a half full bin one day and then another half bin the next day.

I was referring to regular mail delivery, not premium rate mail.

We all pay the same for basic postage, whether the bin is half full or not, so we all deserve the same service.

I imagine though that with all these T5s going out, the bin was very full. It may be the busiest mail day in the year for Selkirk!

If Canada Post is allowed five days and can do it in three days, then they can accumulate mail for a day or two to have a fuller bin.

Yes, all those T5 slips going out of Selkirk would be high volume for them. Selkirk has a population of around 10,000.

I finally received mine, via snail-mail today.

It only took seven (7) days to cross three provinces❗

Must have been carried by dogsled. sf-confused

I also finally received mine Hubert T5 today (Toronto).

Only Simplii T5 is missing.

Simplii also don't have access to T5 slips on-line in this day and age!

Received T5s from Hubert: 3 on Feb 23rd and a 4th on Feb 25th. The one received on 25th is a duplicate of one of those I received o 23rd. When I add up all the T5s then compare the totals to all interest earned in 2019 the Hubert total is almost 80% higher. We're talking a big difference ... over $10,000

I'll be calling tomorrow to see what they have to say. Oh and I'll be asking about the new (crappy) web interface.

I called Hubert support this morning and gave the agent Giselle all the details. They will now have to figure out what went wrong and get back to me. It took me some time to figure out how I could get a detailed transaction listing for all of 2019 on the "new" web interface but was finally successful.
Now I may go back and look at a couple of previous years.

Oh yes and I mentioned my displeasure towards the new web interface but I could tell my comments were going in one ear and out the other.
