I have searched the Access website high and low and it doesn't appear they offer it anymore. Has anyone had any success with opening one since the switch over?

Laddered one year?
OR quarterly one year?

Quarterly is showing on their rates page. But I understand that you have to call in for that.

Where are you seeing the quarterly?

I am looking at the term deposits page under RATES and there is no quarterly indicated of any kind.

There are 2 one year listings....one is quarterly.

I think they made sure they included the “one offs” from both Accelerate and Hubert to appease all. But don’t be surprised that eventually Hubert GICs will align with what Access offers. Time will tell.

The quarterly redeemable GIC is the differentiator, which is the only reason I am keeping some funds at Hubert/Access now, despite no CDIC coverage and the much worse online capabilities.

I agree that Access CU will eventually want to eliminate the Hubert offerings and only offer their standard products (might be why they have made no efforts to have these products/transactions in their online banking) at which point my funds will leave.
