Looks like Tangerine increased all GIC rates. Still not the best rate around but if my notes are correct the 5 year increased from 1.90% to 2.25%.

It is the first increase in a long time for Tangerine GICs. 2.25% is now higher than the 2.18% best rate on BMOIL.
