Their system uses Flinks, is that correct? I don't recall that has been confirmed in this thread. If not, how is linking and funding done?

Yes - it was Flinks (or a similar technology) which gets you to sign into to your external account to complete the linking after which one should be able to do the funding - but it did not work for me - just timed out without completion.

That being said, am convinced that when I buy any more MCAN GIC's it would be through Scrivens, my broker, that pays the same rate as the MCAN direct portal, especially after reading the disclaimers and waivers of responsibility contained in the terms of service of Flinks et al.

Yes - but Client Contact said they expect a drop in rates on Tuesday Aug 6.
I think most GIC rates will be under 5% by mid August.
