THIS WEEK'S BEST RATES

1 year - 2.60% *
2 year - 2.62% *
3 year - 2.65% *
4 year - 2.67% *
5 year - 2.85%**

Minimum Investment $25,000 *
Minimum Investment $50,000 **

Not bad, but if you have the patience you're better off sticking with HISA and moving the funds from FI to FI.

Doesn't even require patience, just minimal effort in dealing with the usual suspects like Peoples Trust / Bank, Omnia, even DUCA with the current 4-5 year 3% offering.

Don't forget that, in Ontario, both Luminus (5 years) and Ganaraska (3 years) also have 3% cashable GICs.
