Creative Arts Financial has a two interesting GIC promos for a limited time. Anyone in Ontario can become a member and an account can be opened without visiting the branch. They are under the umbrella of FirstOntario C.U. Has anyone here done business with them?
4 month GIC @ 5% p.a.
1 yr. cashable GIC @ 4.35% p.a. (if cashed early, 2.17% p.a. in first 6 months; 3.26% p.a. in months 7 to 11).

I haven't dealt with them, but I recall there was/is a CU that specifically served the Arts community because most of them do not have the usual sort of regular jobs and income, so were not always welcome at FIs.

That was the Creative Arts Savings & Credit Union (CASCU).
Merged with FirstOntario Credit Union in 2020. Now, the Creative Arts Financial division in FirstOntario Credit Union:
