I know there is a chart on this site on GIC's but some FI's do not sell them in an RRSP account. I would like any suggestions on getting the highest 5yr GIC within a RRSP account? Thanks

PS: The same question for highest HISA within a RRSP account. Thanks

Oaken, Hubert, Accelerate.

But study the next step. RRIF. Not all FIs have a RRIF to put your RRSP into and not all FIs allow a 1 year RRIF GIC and not all FIs have the same process for providing mandatory funds and not all FIs have same process for voluntary withdrawals.

In addition, not all FIs are willing to convert an RSP to an RIF during the term of the GIC, should you wish or need to do so, and not all FIs offer a companion registered savings account.

Hubert doesn't offer the one year RIF GIC.
Oaken doesn't offer the savings account.
