Starting January 17, 2027, if you choose to pay your Rogers bill by credit card, a 1.6% credit card processing charge will apply. This reflects the fees we are charged by credit card companies. Other payment options, such as debit card or direct debit from your bank account, are available without the charge.

If you choose to pay your bill by credit card, it's increasingly common across many sectors for a credit card fee to apply.

Not applicable to Quebec customers.

Does further decrease the appeal of the Rogers Mastercards, given that the updated rewards structure (https://www.highinterestsaving.....v-18-2026/) includes 5% back on Rogers purchases? Thus you'll only be getting an effective 3.4% back if you pay your Rogers bill with your Rogers credit card?

Yes, it effectively nets 3.48% back on Rogers bills paid by Rogers Mastercard starting January 17, 2027:

$100 bill:
1.6% fee = $1.60
5% cashback = 5% x ($100 + $1.60) = $5.08
Net cashback = $5.08 - $1.60 = $3.48

Has that been confirmed with Rogers? Or we wait and see on the next billing?
