I think most of people here would be eligible at least to a certain amount
Here is where you can apply: https://www.thatsuitemoney.ca/

From what I read, this does not cover software purchased for MAC computers, only PCs. For example, on their schedule of eligible software, no mention of Office 2008 for Mac, or Word 2008 or Excel 2008. I have sent them a message for clarification.

Consider that payout is around $5 for each piece of software.

It says UP to $250 but in reality the most likely amount is around $10.

I know a couple of people who have already applied. They said it is not a scam.

To get the $250, you will have to file 10s of papers. $5 here $7 there. Honestly, isn't worth the hassle. Let lawyers enjoy the +$114M.

At least I know that every year around this time I get a free box of chocolates. I have no intention of applying for the $5.00 reward that may show up in a year and a half or longer. Not worth the effort at all to me, but, good luck with that.

The definitive answer:
"Software used on Apple Macintosh (Mac) computers is not eligible."

As usual, it is PCs with all the issues.

We bought over 12 computers over that period which included a windows OS and Office suite. I did apply for this. It's actually quite simple to apply. It took me less then 15 min.
Yes, it will take long time before you see anything, but I still think (in our case) it's worth applying and forget it.

I bought Microsoft software and desktops with Windows OS preinstalled during this time frame, but I decided to forgive Microsoft. I will not be applying for compensation.
