So just to be clear I am not talking about Manulife Banking.

I have a Manulife advisor for my RRSPs and am winding them down and out. I have found a discrepancy between my account balance on my statement summary vs what my last GICs show how they paid out in the “transactions” look up. I was shorted $20. I advised my adviser and she has passed the verified issue over to Manulife 2 weeks ago and no response. So I wonder how many times this has happened to me over the last 15 years and how many other clients may have been short changed as well. How careless of a company are they, if the numbers in column A don’t match the numbers in column B? I will be so glad when I finally have no dealings with them.

I have an employee based RRSP account set up with Manulife through my work. I'm curious, do you mean, what you have seen in the transaction section of your online account vs your quarterly (maybe its monthly, can't remember) statements you can download?

Yes. I have acess to my account online I print the summary and also the transactions. The total (manually calculated) $ in the transactions was higher than the total in the summary. I only have GICs with them and It just worked out that ALL my GICs matured Jan-Mar and the funds sat in my cash account awaiting future direction and it was easy to see the discrepancy.

I usually print the online summary at the true month end which can be 1-5 days later as their mailed statements are poor and with all their BS jibberish on them that is supposed to make me think that they are great.

So your work account may be different than a personal account? I find their system to be very poor and takes too long to find up to date info. I have and iTrade account and tomorrow usually always reflects the close of yesterday.

I also found that Sunlife waived the $150 self directed fee for accounts over $100,000. Something you might not see on your work account?
