This $50 gift card seems really nice, especially if you consider correction is coming to the stock market soon and they have one of the lowest commission in Canada.

Must fund account with $5000 though.
Questrade has these promotions in some form or another almost constantly, but the minimum fund for the account often ranges from $10,000 - $100,000 to get the promotion value/item. Getting $50 on $5000 is not an outrageously good deal.
