The CEO of Haventree Bank was on Bloomberg this morning announcing their plan to open an online bank in Canada. No specific details were disclosed, except that theri platform is supposed to be "user friendly" and "fast" and that deposits would be CDIC insured.
Haventree has been a GIC provider through brokers with rates that have been attractive and competitive with the better providers in recent years.
Anyone have more details about their plans?

Hi Dean,
Clicking on that link I see they are offering 4% on a two year GIC.
I've had GIC's with them before through GIC Direct.
